Abstract:

In the realm of emerging substances, metal nanoparticles, particularly silver nanoparticles, demonstrateconsiderable promise within the field of cancer biology. The specific targeting of cancer cells, resulting indiminished side effects, coupled with robust anti-cancer properties, positions nanoparticle therapeutics asappealing platforms for the development of clinically relevant drugs. This review emphasizes the distinctive,exploitable, and attainable characteristics of therapeutic concepts based on silver nanoparticles. It also delvesinto the obstacles critical to their progress in clinical application. The presented compilation of findingsdelineates the unique attributes of silver nanoparticles compared to other anti-cancer agents. It elucidates therealistic opportunities and implications in oncotherapeutic innovations, seeking to determine whetheremploying silver nanoparticles for cancer therapy is a conceptual fiction or an achievable reality.
