Abstract:

Our country’s climate is changing, and the signs of shortcomings with the water resources are everywherein Iran, and predominantly associated problems are getting increasingly severe. In turn, the synoptic weathersystems leading to decreasing low precipitation levels due to climate change have aggravated the country'swater scarcity in recent years, as all other environmental relational parts frequencies are meaningfullychanging. Most frequently, the reduction in rainfalls persistently affects agriculture, infrastructure, theenvironment, and ecosystems in many ways. We do not yet know where, when, and how much watersources are lost from water reserves. Droughts intensify, and climate change pushes temperatures higher, hence most rural areas are increasingly unable to afford the trucked-in or store-bought water on which theymust rely, especially in dry and semi-arid climates of the country.Consequently, the country's vulnerable water resources must be carefully monitored in different ways andscales precisely and wisely. It seems that according to the possibilities of technologies, software, and expertforces, it is now time to take executive measures to solve this critical problem of the country. Accordingly,multi-platform and multi-purpose monitoring systems are almost immediately required to construct arelevant applied-based nationwide comprehensive water resources database. Major watersheds must bewatchfully experimented with by employing advanced integrated and fused real, near real-time, andintelligent smart monitoring systems directed to advanced machine-deep-learning approaches. Waterscientists and managers have to watch and get accurate information about the water resources through oneunique applicable policy to reduce the disastrous consequences of unintelligent use of limited andvulnerable water resources.
