Effects of ۳۵ Hz, ۲ mT Magnetic Field on Peripheral Blood Lymphocytes of Human In Vitro and Rat In Vivo

Abstract:

In this research we have studied the effects of extremely low frequency magnetic field on the peripheral blood lymphocytes chromosomes of human in vitro and rat in vivo. By this means, we used ۶۰ blood samples of ۱۰ men as well as ۴۰ rats. Of ۶۰ human blood samples ,۴۰ samples (in two group of ۲۰) were selected as test groups and placed into the ۲ mT and ۳۵ Hz magnetic field. The blood samples,then, with ۲۰ samples of control groups cultured for chromosomal analysis of lymphocytes cells.Of ۴۰ rats, ۳۰ rats, in two group of ۱۵, were also placed into the same magnetic field, and cultured with ۱۰ control rats for chromosomal analysis of lymphocytes cells.The analysis results of ۵۳۷۳ metaphasic cells from human bloods(۳۵۷۳ test cells and ۱۸۰۰ control cells) showed that there was no significant differences among the percentages of chromosomal aberrations of control(۰.۱۶%), ۳۰ and ۶۰ minutes test (۰.۲۲۴%,۰.۲۹۶%) groups respectively (p۳۰´>۰.۲۸,p۶۰´>۰.۱۵). There was no chromosomal aberrations in ۳۰۸۹ metaphasic lymphocytes of rats (۲۳۸۹ test cells and ۷۰۰ control cells).
