Abstract:

Sustainable architecture is one of the important indicators of achieving sustainable development. For the progress of this field, research on zero energy buildings is important. In addition to diversifying the energy portfolio and providing stable energy security, renewable energies will be able to help mankind in the urban energy sector. In this article, the use of three types of renewable energy on the energy supply of two similar buildings in Tehran has been investigated. These two buildings are student dormitories with more than ۱۰۰۰ inhabitants. In this regard, photovoltaic solar energy and wind energy have been used to supply the building's electricity needs. Also, the thermal energy of the sun and geothermal energy have been used to provide heating of the building and hot water consumption
