Historical cities, which have hosted variouscivilizations throughout history, aim to preserve their unique cultural heritage and historicalknowledge and transfer it to future generations. Examination of traditional houses bytypological analysis method is an important approach to understand the features, plan layout, material usage and architectural details of these buildings. Typology is a classification systemthat describes the characteristic features and structural arrangements of a particular type ofdwelling. The typological analysis examines the general layout of these buildings, the numberof floors, the layout of the rooms, the existence of the inner courtyard, the characteristicfeatures and decorations of the facades. It also focuses on details such as material usage, rooftypes, door and window arrangements.Typological analysis is valuable for emphasizing the cultural and historical importance oftraditional residences in the historical city, providing basic information for conservation and restoration work, and understanding the heritage that will be passed on to future generations. In addition, these analysis results can be used to understand the local architectural tradition of the region and to preserve similar houses or to use them in new projects
