Abstract:
The rapid development of the world economy has led to an increase in the consumption of non-renewable energy, which has created crises such as environmental problems and pollutants. In addition to this, the development of the distribution system and the heterogeneity of network loads cause a decrease in reliability and power adequacy, which necessitates the use of new and alternative methods in order to increase power quality. In the meantime, one of these methods is the use of distributed renewable resources in the distribution network. Therefore, in this paper, a detailed study of a microgrid with AC/DC hybrid system, in grid-connected mode, is presented, which has a photovoltaic system, a wind turbine system (PMSG), a battery, a DC/DC boost converter and an AC/DC inverter. DC is for microgrid development. Transformer control mechanisms are also implemented for proper coordination of AC sub-grid with DC sub-grid. The results obtained from the simulations show that the microgrid quickly compensates the required power by changing the load and stabilizes the voltage stability in a preunit. Also, the frequency of the network has changed very low in the range of ۰.۰۶ Hz, which is very suitable. An algorithm was implemented in Dicker to reduce the cost of electricity consumption and supply electricity during peak times using renewable resources, and the results indicate a decrease in electricity costs during peak times.
