Abstract:

One of the main concerns of website administrators, especially online stores, is to encounter malicious DDoS attacks, which lead to the website being unavailable. The importance of this becomes apparent when such websites are engaged in special sales on various occasions. In this article, using the Content Distribution Networks (CDN) algorithm to prevent such attacks, we explain various solutions to maintain the stability of your website service.In this article, we are going to explain the concept of DDoS and how to carry out such attacks. Then, let's explain the ways to prevent DDoS attacks by using content distribution networks and other solutions. DDoS attack is one of the common types of cyber attacks in which hackers use botnets to send a huge amount of traffic to the server. These types of attacks are often carried out to disable the server and its inability to provide services to authorized users. In a DDoS attack, the resources of a server are targeted, including the processor, bandwidth, memory, etc.; in this type of attack, hackers abuse the limited capacity of servers. By engaging the server's limited capacity to respond to botnet requests, the server will no longer be able to respond to authorized users, and in some cases, the website will be completely unavailable. Given that these types of attacks can be carried out from anywhere in the world, it will be difficult to detect and repel them. In this article, let's look at the types of DDoS attacks and content distribution networks (CDN) service solutions to deal with them.
