The effect of router programs on driver distraction

It has become very common to use routing apps to help drivers find the best route to their destination. By providing real-time data and traffic alerts, these apps can be useful in reducing travel time and finding low-traffic routes. However, using these technologies while driving, especially if they divert the driver's attention from the road, can also bring risks. One of the problems caused by the use of these programs is distraction. Research has shown that distraction is one of the main causes of road accidents. Using navigation programs and looking at the screen while driving can cause the driver's attention to deviate. In this research, in order to determine the effect of route finder programs on driver distraction, information related to the variables of route finder programs and driver distraction was collected from ۳۸۶ drivers in Tehran as a case study. Based on the results, according to the assumptions of the model, the use of regression and independent t methods were implemented in SPSS software, and the analysis of the results shows the appropriate model and the appropriate effectiveness of the variables. According to the results obtained in the fitting of the model, all the variables in all the domains had good validity and reliability in the model. Also, in the general effects of the model, it was shown that all the relationships and variable effects of noise pollution on the components of high-risk behaviors of employees are significant.
