Abstract:

In this research, a combination of two random vortex methods and the corrected SLIC algorithm have been used to simulate the transient combustion flow around the cylinder. This model consists of two parts, in the first part, the random vortex method is used to solve the rotating field, and in the second part, the corrected SLIC algorithm is used to solve the flame propagation.
