Abstract:

This study presents the fabrication of various gas sensors utilizing diverse TiO۲ nanostructuresthrough the application of Alternative Current Electrophoretic Deposition (ACEPD). Theinvestigation evaluates the impact of distinct TiO۲ nanostructures, serving as sensing materials, ontemperature sensitivity and electrical conductivity. The findings affirm that the electricalconductivity of gas sensors can be significantly influenced by the particle boundaries and particleinterface of the sensing layer. As such, the minimum resistance alterations and maximum electricalconductivity are attributed to gas sensors based on ۱D TiO۲ nanostructures. The research indicatesthat gas sensors employing ۱D nanostructures require less power to function due to their minimalactivation energy needed for electron transfer between fermi and conduction levels.
