Abstract:

One way to reach a building with higher energy efficiency is to usesolar renewable energy, used to enhance the thermal performance of thebuilding. In general, two ranges can be defined according to the depthfor the solar spaces studied in this research, first, the depth of more thanone meter, which can add living space to the building, and second, thedepth of less than one meter, which is similar to the Trombe wall. Theydo not work and do not add a livable space to the building This studyinvestigates the depth of the solar space in the heat load of the annexedsettlement to this space with the aim of reaching the optimal depth ofthis element in order to reduce the heating load during the cold days ofthe year, and the minimum imposition of the excess cooling load in thesummer by Design Builder and Energy Plus software with the methodDescriptive-analytical analysis and then analyzed the results. Finally,According to the results of the calculations related to the heating loadsin optimal winter conditions, the studied models of priority use aresunspace with an angle of ۶۰ degrees, sunspace with an angle of ۴۵degrees, sunspace with an angle of ۳۰ degrees, rectangular cubesunspace.
