Abstract:
This paper reviews the use of hybrid fibers in high-performance high-volume fly ash concrete. Traditional cement production has a significant environmental impact, leading researchers to explore alternatives such as fly ash. While fly ash can reduce strength, fibers have been used to strengthen concrete and reduce cracking. However, there is limited research on the mechanical and durability properties of high-performance high-volume fly ash concrete reinforced with hybrid fibers. This study examines the use of steel, polypropylene, and basalt fibers individually and in combination, finding that hybrid fibers can enhance performance.
