Managing risks in supply chain: ensuring sustainablemanagement in global businesses

The purpose of this study is to initially explain and separate the definitionof risk management and supply chain management. After clarifying theseexplanations and explaining each one completely and of course simply,there are ways to find risk in supply chain of companies, and then how tosolve it. The output of this system is to reduce supply chain risks incompanies and environments that use the supply chain. In today'sglobalized economy, companies are increasingly reliant on complex andinterconnected supply chains to deliver products and services tocustomers. However, these supply chains are also vulnerable to a widerange of risks, including natural disasters, geopolitical instability, anddisruptions in transportation and logistics. This article explores strategiesthat companies can implement to reduce risk in their supply chains andensure continuity of operations. These strategies include diversifyingsuppliers, implementing robust risk management processes, investing intechnology to improve visibility and transparency in the supply chain,and developing contingency plans for potential disruptions. Byproactively addressing risks in their supply chains, companies canminimize the impact of unforeseen events and maintain a competitiveedge in the marketplace.
