Abstract:

Suicidal thoughts, chronic fear and stress are factors that have a negative effect on the individual and the family, which may cause a decrease in mental health. Different investigations of family patterns have confirmed these disorders, so the aim of this study is to investigate the prevalence of suicidal thoughts, chronic fear and stress and related demographic factors in parents of twelfth grade students in the city. It was Zanjan. Research Present From type Descriptive - cross-sectional Was And Society The statistics included the parents of ۱۲th grade students in Zanjan city in the academic year ۱۴۰۱-۱۴۰۰, among them ۴۴۳ people ( ۱۹۹ men). And ۲۴۴ woman ) to Method Sample get by accident clustered Selection became Tool Total Bring Data I see A two-part questionnaire that includes demographic information and questions related to the scale of suicidal thoughts, chronic fear and stress ( DASS ۲۱ ) Was . Data I see With SPSS ۲۲ And Tests statistics T And X۲ item analysis analysis appointment and a significance level of ۰.۰۵ was considered. The obtained results showed that the prevalence of suicidal thoughts, chronic fear and stress were ۲۳.۶%, ۳۸.۳% and ۱۸.۸% in women and ۱۳.۰۶%, ۱۷.۰۶% and ۱۷.۰۶% respectively in men. It was ۷.۰۳ percent. X۲ test analysis showed that there is a significant relationship between suicidal thoughts and gender, economic status and education. Also between chronic fear with Gender, economic status, and stress were also found to have a significant relationship with gender. However, no significant relationship was observed between suicidal thoughts with age and chronic fear with education and age. In addition, there was no significant relationship between stress and economic status, education and age. The results of this study showed that the prevalence of suicidal thoughts, chronic fear and stress was relatively high, which can endanger the mental health of the individual and the family. Therefore, it seems necessary to identify this group of people and refer them to clinical specialists for treatment.
