Answering to the design criterion of the so called Solar Decathlon 2013 competition, Team Iran, founded and organized originally by the core members from the students of Department of Mechanical and Energy Engineering, Abbsapour University of Technology, as the 4th ranked cceptedparticipant of this world wide event, has come up with its solar house design; Shāremān (Wind-House). Beside all its sustainable architecture and smart engineering criteria,Shāremān sufficiently handles the free wind flow around it with the aid of Flow Controlling Blades designed and developed in the Department ofBuilding Aerodynamics of Team Iran. The current paper deals with the CFD modeling result of utilizing theseFlow Controlling Blades on the smart sustainable solar house in terms of drag reduction. These blades are in charge of streaming the wind flow all aroundthe house, preventing separations and decreasing the wake intensity of size, leading to minimization of pressure drag exerted on the structure of the house.
