Abstract:

This study delves into the intricate interplay between gender dynamics and digital technologies within the Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) landscape. The integration of technology into language education has become increasingly prevalent, offering educators a diverse toolkit for innovative pedagogical practices. However, persistent gender disparities in technology attitudes and behaviors raise concerns about equitable access and engagement in technology-mediated language learning. This research investigates how gender-related factors intersect with the use of digital tools in TEFL classrooms. It explores how these interactions influence classroom dynamics, learner engagement, and language acquisition outcomes. The findings aim to inform educators, policymakers, and researchers on the development of gender-sensitive strategies that optimize the use of technology in TEFL and promote inclusive learning environments.By addressing these critical issues, this study contributes to both the advancement of effective TEFL practices and the broader discourse on gender and technology in education. It highlights the importance of considering gender dynamics when designing and implementing technology-based language learning activities, ultimately paving the way for more equitable and effective language education for all learners.
