Abstract:

Supply chain finance (SCF) is a term describing a set of technology-based solutions that aim to lower financing costs and improve business efficiency for buyers and sellers linked in a sales transaction. SCF methodologies work by automating transactions and tracking invoice approval and settlement processes, from initiation to completion. Under this paradigm, buyers agree to approve their suppliers' invoices for financing by a bank or other outside financier--often referred to as "factors." And by providing short-term credit that optimizes working capital and provides liquidity to both parties, SCF offers distinct advantages to all participants. While suppliers gain quicker access to money they are owed, buyers get more time to pay off their balances. On either side of the equation, the parties can use the cash on hand for other projects to keep their respective operations running smoothy. from the origin to the point of consumption. Networks, communication channels and interconnected or related businesses combine to provide products and services needed by end customers in a supply chain. Supply chain management is defined as "the design, planning, implementation, control and monitoring of supply chain activities with the objective of creating net value, creating a competitive infrastructure, exerting worldwide logistics influence, synchronizing supply with demand and measuring performance globally." ". The practice of supply chain management draws heavily on industrial engineering, systems engineering, operations management, logistics, procurement, information technology, and marketing, and strives to create an integrated, multidisciplinary, multimethod approach. Marketing channels play an important role in supply chain management. Current research in supply chain management is related to issues related to sustainability and risk management, among others. Adopting supply chain management in a project-based environment brings significant benefits but requires careful planning and implementation. The current research examines a number of articles related to both supply chain management and project management in project management journals. First, we identify the key antecedents to the successful implementation of supply chain management in a project-based environment. Then, we categorize these factors into four main areas, namely, information technology integration, organizational coordination, risk management, and supply chain resilience and complexity. In the third step, we carefully examine the interrelationships between these factors through a comprehensive review of research.
