Abstract:

This research delves into the role of artificial intelligence (AI) andinformation management in driving business transformation. It seeks tocomprehend how AI impacts information management andsubsequently influences the outcomes of business transformationinitiatives. Employing a quantitative research approach, the studyutilizes a questionnaire as its primary data collection method, targetinginformation technology managers from small and medium-sizedcompanies in Baghdad. The findings unveil significant relationshipsamong AI, information management, and business transformation, withpath coefficients indicating a substantial impact of AI on bothinformation management and business transformation. Additionally,information management demonstrates a positive influence on businesstransformation, albeit to a lesser extent. Practical recommendationsstemming from the research underscore the importance of integratingAI technologies and effective information management practices topropel successful business transformation endeavors. These suggestionsunderscore the imperative for organizations to invest in AI capabilitiesand cultivate robust information management strategies to fully harnessAI's transformative potential in shaping their business operations.
