Abstract:
Objective: The present study was conducted with the aim of the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral game therapy on social anxiety in children with specific learning disorders in Zanjan city. The experimental research is of pre-test and post-test type with a control group (۱۵ people in the experimental group and ۱۵ people in the control group). The statistical population of this research is ۹۸ students with special learning disorder in Zanjan radiation clinic. The statistical sample includes ۳۰ students with specific learning disabilities who were receiving services in the radiation clinic in the academic year of ۲۰۲۳, and the sampling was done using the full number method. In order to obtain information, MASC social anxiety questionnaires (March et al., ۱۹۹۷) and cognitive behavioral game therapy package (Asghari Nikah, ۲۰۱۷) were used. To analyze the data, a repeated measurement test was used using SPSS software, version ۲۷. One week before and one after the implementation of the training sessions, pre-tests and post-tests were taken, and the post-test was repeated ۶ months later ( α >۰.۰۱ ) and it can be concluded that Asghari Nikah cognitive behavioral game therapy package has an effect on psychosocial variables of children with specific learning disorder in Zanjan city.
