Abstract:

The high voltage cable systems are widely used in the world as reliable means of power transportations particularly in high density area. As the length of cable is increased, the voltage raise across shields or metallic sheath and the power loss in those layers due to capacitive effects of cable are becoming concern for power transmission. So in this paper at first, different methods of cable bonding system are introduced and then their effects on voltage raise, charging current and the power loss of cable sheath are investigated. Finaly these methods are implemented in to a real ۱۳۲kv cable system and the results are presented.
