Abstract:

In the rapidly evolving landscape of healthcare data management, the integration of diverse data sources presents both opportunities and challenges. This study explores the comprehensive process of assembling and standardizing data from various sources within hospital settings to establish a robust database foundation. The data collection process involves gathering patient-related information from survey forms, integrating electronic health records from hospital information systems, utilizing quality improvement data from Excel files, and incorporating data from medical records and coding systems.Normalization and storage play a pivotal role in managing this amalgamated data, ensuring uniformity and accessibility. Standardizing information involves meticulous design and adherence to predefined formats, enabling seamless integration into storage subsystems. The aggregation of data within a structured framework allows for efficient storage and retrieval, facilitating subsequent analysis and decision-making.Data analysis is essential for deriving meaningful insights from this integrated dataset, leveraging business intelligence tools like Power BI. By visualizing trends and patterns, healthcare organizations can make informed decisions to improve patient care and operational efficiency. This study highlights the need for further research into leveraging voice recognition technology to enhance data entry processes within information systems. Addressing unanswered questions in this area could unlock new opportunities for optimizing health data management practices and software development, ultimately advancing healthcare delivery.
