Abstract:

The main components of soybeans are: proteins (۴۰% w/w), lipids (۲۰% w/w), carbohydrates (۱۵%w/w) and ash (۵% w/w). The most common method for extracting oil from soybeans is direct extraction withhexane solvent. In the industry, the ratio of soybean seeds to solvent in extractors should be about one to onein order to achieve the desired efficiency of oil extraction.
