Abstract:

Acidizing is one of the traditional methods of stimulating oil and gas wells. In this process, acid is injected into the formation around the well and by dissolving the relevant compounds (such as sediment and reservoir rock), it damages the formation and increases the porosity and permeability around the well. It is possible that the heterogeneity and interaction of the injected stimulation fluids and the reservoir fluid may lead to damage to the new formation caused by organic sediment, which subsequently reduces the efficiency of the stimulation operation or causes its complete failure. The contact of various acids with asphalt oil has the possibility of destabilizing asphalt particles, which will happen if conditions are created for the deposition of asphalt sludge inside the formation. The presence of microwaves will have a positive effect in reducing this asphalt sludge, which is discussed in this article. Another goal of this research is to compare the amount of asphalt sludge resulting from the contact and mixing of crude oil with the desired waters (distilled water, acid formation water and acid sea water) and HCI acid independently and the amount of asphalt sludge formed as a result of contact. And the mixing of crude oil with the desired waters (distilled water, acidic formation water and acidic sea water) and HCI acid is in the vicinity of the microwave. According to the obtained results, the amount of asphalt sludge in the vicinity of microwaves, according to the power and time, is in the form of a slight decrease to decrease, while without the presence of microwaves, only the amount of asphalt sludge is more due to a different acid solution. Also, density changes will be periodic.
