Abstract:

This paper presents a framework for smart grid to take part in energy and regulation markets. The presented smart grid aggregates different sources including diesel generator, wind turbine (WT) and battery storage power station (BSPS). It is supposed that smart grid provides requested regulation by its diesel generator and BSPS according to the delivery request of the distribution company. Implemented uncertainties including WT generation, energy and regulation prices and regulation up and down delivery requests are implemented through a ۲m+۱ point estimate method (PEM). The case studies are implemented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented smart grid framework.
