Abstract:

The accelerating pace of digital transformation within the airline industrynecessitates a strategic reevaluation of data analytics practices, particularlythe implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for enhancingoperational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.This study delves into the strategic significance of KPIs in the realm ofairline data analytics, employing a mixed-methods research design thatincludes literature review, expert interviews, and case studies of leadingairlines. The findings underscore the transformative impact of dataanalytics across operational, customer, and financial dimensions,highlighting the critical role of aligning KPIs with strategic goals,fostering a data-driven organizational culture, and adapting KPI strategiesin response to evolving technological and market dynamics. Furthermore,the research presents actionable recommendations for Data AnalysisDirectors and airline executives, advocating for continuous adaptation andstrategic refinement of data analytics practices. This study contributes to both theoretical and practical understandings of strategic data analytics inthe airline industry, offering a comprehensive guide for leveraging KPIs toachieve competitive advantage and operational excellence. Future researchavenues are suggested, including the exploration of emerging datatechnologies and the ethical use of data, to further enhance the strategicapplication of KPIs in the airline industry
