Abstract:
Virtual reality is a computer-generated environment that immerses users in a world using electronic equipment. To enhance virtual reality experiences further haptic technology has been integrated. This paper focuses on designing and developing a glove that allows users to interact with virtual objects. The glove incorporates technologies to capture user movements and generate corresponding feedback. Notably, the system integrated into the glove offers power efficiency compared to similar devices. This device elevates the touch experience, deepens users' understanding of objects within the virtual reality environment. Our haptic glove, features an electromagnetic locking mechanism that distinguishes it from competitors due to its superior energy efficiency, consuming a mere ۶ watts of power. Its tactile simulator arms, outfitted with actuators, provide a force feedback of ۲۰ Newtons to each finger. It simulates a sense of shape, volume, and touch when engaging with virtual objects and accurately emulates real-world interactions precisely.
