Abstract:
An efficient and environmentally friendly method for the synthesis of tetrahydrobenzo[b]pyran derivatives ina one-step, three-component reaction, including dimedone, malononitrile, and aromatic aldehydes, underoptimal solvent conditions of water:EtOH (۱:۱) and a temperature of ۷۰ degrees Celsius. It was carried out inthe presence of nanocatalyst Fe₃ O₄ @THAM-Mercaptopyrimidine and the synthesized product was obtainedwith high efficiency.The structure of the product was identified using melting point and IR and NMRspectroscopy.
