Abstract:

بررسی رابطه بین مهارت های شنیداری و مهارت های خواندن با سطح واژگان دانش آموزان موضوعی به روز در تاریخ آموزش زبان است که توجه بسیاری از محققان در زمینه ELT را به خود جلب کرده است. از این رو، پژوهش حاضر سعی بر آن دارد تا تاثیر بخش های خواندنی و تکالیف شنیداری بر حفظ واژگان و یادگیری دانش آموزان پسر دبیرستانی ایرانی را بر اساس مجموعه کتاب های انگلیسی جدیدا منتشر شده VISION در ایران برای دانش آموزان دبیرستانی بررسی کند. ۶۰ دانش آموز، انتخاب شده و در دو گروه آزمایشی تقسیم شدند که یک گروه آزمایشی برای تکالیف شنیداری و یک گروه آزمایشی برای تکالیف خواندن است. ابتدا پیش آزمونی برای بررسی سطح زبان به ویژه سطح واژگانی اجرا شد و سپس هر دو گروه تحت بررسی، قرار گرفتند و در پایان پس آزمون اولیه و ثانویه برای بررسی ماندگاری و یادگیری لغات جدید اجرا شد. لازم به ذکر است که طی جلسات بررسی، معنی کلمات جدید از طریق ترجمه L۱، مترادف و متضاد آموزش داده شد. در بخش خواندن، دانش آموزان باید در آزمون چندگزینه ای لغات جدید، شرکت کنند و برای بخش شنیداری، دانش آموزان به صورت شفاهی به معنی کلمات جدید پاسخ دادند. پس از پایان جلسه بررسی، دانشجویان آزمون اولیه و ثانویه را سپری کرده اند. فاصله بین آزمون اولیه و ثانویه، یک ماه بود. کلمات جدید از دبیرستان کتاب انگلیسی پایه دهم یعنی Vision۱ انتخاب شده است. سپس با استفاده از نرم افزار SPSS با مقایسه میانگین ها و آمار توصیفی، داده ها مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت و یافته ها نشان داد که هر دو نوع تکلیف یعنی تکالیف خواندن و شنیدن بر ارتقای سطح واژگان دانش آموزان تاثیر داشته اند؛ اما در بخش تکالیف خواندنی، در مقایسه با تکالیف شنیداری، بهتر عمل کردند. میانگین گروه خواندن برای هر دو آزمون اولیه و ثانویه ۱۶ و ۱۵ بود، اما میانگین گروه شنیداری به ترتیب ۱۴ و ۱۳ گردید. همچنین، بین میانگین های هر دو گروه در هر دو آزمون ۱ و آزمون ۲ تفاوت معناداری وجود داشت. در مجموع، نتایج نشان داد که بخش خواندن مجموعه ی Vision، به ویژه Vision۱ برای دانش آموزان پایه دهم، بسیار موثرتر است. بهبود سطح واژگان دانش آموزان دبیرستانی در مقایسه با بخش شنیداری Vision۱. و همچنین یافته ها و نتایج کنونی می تواند به معلمان، توسعه دهندگان داده های درسی و نویسندگان کتاب کمک کند.
