The relationship between the social responsibility of youth and the promotion of science and research based onthe second step document of the revolution(Case study: postgraduate students and professors of Shiraz Azad University)

Today, the issue of responsibility of young people, especially students, is very important in societies. Because universities, as the most important production centers of science and research, have an impact on society, economy, culture, etc. Today, societies are successful in the field of science and research promotion that have been able to cultivate social responsibility in young people (students). The conditions of the community were used. The purpose of the current research is to investigate the relationship between the social responsibility of youth and the promotion of science and research based on the second step document of the revolution. The statistical population of the study was graduate students and professors of Azad University of Shiraz, which was a statistical sample of ۳۴۹people based on Cochran's sampling formula. The tools used in this research were social responsibility questionnaires and factors affecting the promotion of science and research. Cronbach's alpha results show that the used questionnaires and its dimensions have high reliability. In order to analyze the data and answer the correctness of the research hypotheses, correlation tests and structural equation model method (path analysis) were used. The findings showed that at a significance level of less than ۰/۰۵, there is a significant relationship between the social responsibility of the youth and the promotion of science and research based on the document of the second step of the revolution. Also, there is a significant relationship between the dimensions of social responsibility of the youth and the promotion of science and research based on the document of the second step of the revolution. On the other hand, the dimensions of social responsibility of the youth can predict the level of promotion of science and research based on the document of the second step of the revolution.
