Abstract:

Security in WSNs QoS routing has received increased attention recently, since it is one of the most important functions for integrated services networks. QoS and security have been seen together in different ways. The purpose of this study is to propose a mechanism to achieving secure WSNs QoS routing with regard to QoS considerations. This study aimed at presenting a new mechanism for AOMDV routing protocol that addresses issues of QoS reliability and security with minimizing data redundancy geminately. In addition, we employ coding techniques and dispersing the original data over multiple paths. As another security tool we use the hop-by-hop authentication mechanism that prevents some important and known attacks. Our approach provides reliable and secure data transmission while considers the restriction resource of WSNs. Simulation results show that our protocol is lightweight, scalable and tolerant of packet loss
