Abstract:
Synthesis of benzo [۱,۳]selenazin derivatives via a one-pot, multicomponent, intramolecular C-H activationreaction from isocyanides, aniline, and acyl isoselenocyanate catalyzed by copper(I) iodide in acetone at roomtemperature to good yields have been reported. The use of simple and readily available starting materials,mild copper-catalytic reaction conditions, no column chromatography, and good to high yields are importantfeatures of this protocol.
