Abstract:
In this work, we have synthesized and characterized a Cu-lidocaine complex. Complex was characterized by UV–vis, Elemental analyses and FT-IR analysis. Synthesis and studies on [Cu(LC)۲(H۲O)۲](NO۳)۲ complex help us to design improved drugs and to realize the characters of mixed-ligand complex. The cell mortality in MCF-۷ cancer cell at highest concentration (۸۰۰μg/ml) of Cu(II) complex at ۲۴, ۴۸, and ۷۲h were ۶۳.۵۶%, ۸۰.۲۸% and ۸۶.۲۳%, respectively. Also, the obtained IC۵۰ value for Cu(II) complex in MCF-۷ cancer cell is ۲۹۶.۹۱, ۲۰۴.۵۴ and ۱۴۵.۱۵ μg/ml for ۲۴, ۴۸, and ۷۲h. It is clear that the Cu(II) complex demonstrate higher inhibitory effects on MCF-۷ cells at ۷۲h.
