Abstract:

The current study presents a development, design, and validation of a user-friendly computer softwarecalled KIANA software written via c # programming language to assess the radiological impacts on theenvironment. To validate the KIANA software, a case study is modeled for Bushehr Nuclear PowerPlant Unit One (BNPP-۱) and the results of the KIANA code are compared with the results of DOZA_Mand ESTE software verified by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). In the currentresearch, the individual dose due to the plume passage received by a member of the public in BNPP-۱under normal condition is programmed. Moreover, the total effective dose received by a member of thepublic in accident of primary to secondary leakage inside steam generators, total effective dose receivedby a member of the public in the case of Large Break Loss of Coolant Accident (LBLOCA) and SmallBreak Loss of Coolant Accident (SBLOCA), and the thyroid gland equivalent dose of an infant group(۱-۸ old years) in the case of occurrence of a LBLOCA in DBA conditions are evaluated. Finally, theprevented dose at the initial stage for the whole body of adults after a BDBA, prevented dose at theinitial stage thyroid gland of an infant group after a BDBA, and the effective dose during the first yearafter the accident in the case of a BDBA are assessed. The results of the KIANA software show a goodagreement and high accuracy with the results of the DOZA_M and ESTE software mainly due to theuse of high order computational mathematical equations. In addition, the results demonstrate that thetime of simulations by the KANA software is much lower than DOZA_M and ESTE software because of the employment of C # programming language. The use of KANA graphical software media is soeasy and friendly for the users respect to other ones
