Abstract:

Cycloaliphatic Epoxy Resins have better mechanical properties and higher strength than aliphaticepoxy resins. accordingly, in the beginning of this research, this resin was synthesized fromcarboxylic acid, epichlorohydrin and sodium hydroxide and the resin identified by Fourier transforminfrared spectrometry (FTIR). To produce a composite from the synthesized resin, it was cured withmeta-phenylenediamine, dicey-diurane and Methyl Tetrahydrophthalic Anhydride(THPA) at acertain temperature and time, after curing, the interlayer shear strength (ILSS) of composite wasinvestigated
