Abstract:

"Veiling" is a social behavior based on which a wise woman has religious obligations towards non-mahrams when dealing with them in terms of clothing. It is important to research on the evidence and scope of women's clothing as an Islamic culture, especially as it has become a symbol and symbol of the Islamic society today. It is necessary to address this issue because some consider veiling to be free of religious obligation. They believe that it has its roots only in the old cultures of the predecessors of that society and has nothing to do with religion. On the other hand, the issue of the scope of "Ster" is one of the topics of discussion in Islamic societies, which makes it more necessary to examine its scope from the perspective of Islamic schools of thought in order to provide a consensus reading of the cover. The purpose of the present research, which is descriptive-analytical and its data was collected in a library method, is that; What are the reasons for the narration of "Ster" from the point of view of jurists of Islamic schools of thought? And how much is its range determined in Sharia? It seems that the proofs are covering verses ۳۱ of Surah Noor and verses ۳۳ and ۵۹ of Surah Al-Ahzab and narrations transmitted from the innocents (peace be upon them). Its size, according to most jurists of Islamic schools, is the whole body of a woman except for the face, hands, thighs, and feet. Two groups are excluded from the ruling of coverage; One is a woman against causal and relative incest, and the other is an old woman without the intention of adornment and adornment. However, it is better to observe the cover.
