Abstract:
Visual tape or VEP is a tape that is performed through the nerve and muscle tape device and through which the reflexes of the eye nerves are checked. This tape is made with the help of several pins that are connected to the brain and the device, and it will not cause any pain for the patient and it will not cause any problems for pregnant patients. This device does not have radiation and only creates a nerve stimulation in the eye. In some diseases, such as lumbar disc, it is necessary for the doctor to examine the nerves more precisely and with the help of this strip, which is done with the help of the EMG/NCV machine, he does this. During this tape, the patient notices a slight shock from the device, and after that, if necessary, tests on the muscles are also checked with the help of very fine needles. In response to some patients who are afraid of the brain scan when visiting a neurologist and think that this device will give them an electric shock. It should be said that the brain tape is not related to electricity in any way and does not shock. In addition, this tape has no pain and is done very simply by a hat puller and silver-plated sockets to check the patient's brain waves. Therefore, there is no need to worry about this issue and it does not cause any problems for pregnant women.
