Computer and Real-Time Control of Three-Phase Induction Motor Speed Using Fuzzy PID Controller By Omron V1000 Drive abstract
In this paper, Omron V1000 drive is used to provide a three phase command of what is produced by Fuzzy and classic PID controllers. These controllers are used to control speed of induction motor via MATLAB software through a data acquisition card. Due to capability of fuzzy logic to solve complicated and uncertain problems it is used in an online and computerized tuning of PID controller parameters. The designed controller in MATLAB software receives error signal through Advantech 1710 HG data acquisition card. Accordingly, performance of both fuzzy and classic PID controllers are investigated in point of view of time response. Practical realization shows ability of the drive to work as a real time actuator to transform a single line command to a variable frequency three phase supply in constant v/f scheme. Meanwhile performance of fuzzy PID controller over Ziegler - Nichols (Z-N) PID controller is practically observed
