Self-Healing Concrete and its various scientific implementation methods

With its special properties and advantages, Concrete has been widely and increasingly used in the construction industry, especially in the country's infrastructure. On the other hand, some defects in concrete and, most importantly, tiny cracks in concrete after setting have caused the cost of maintenance and repair of the infrastructure. Therefore, self-healing concretes have been considered in other countries in recent years. These concrete have been repaired with general mechanisms such as physical, chemical, biological, and combined mechanisms, each of which has different subsets and implementation and exploitation methods. Also, some of these types of mechanisms are of great importance, which has led to a specific production method, and since this subject is new in Iran, this knowledge is almost unknown or at least part of it has not been considered at all.The present Paper fully introduces the various self-healing mechanisms of hearing, in a review, and tries to present the disadvantages and advantages of each method along with its scope of application
