Abstract:
This article examines the viscoelastic behavior of three types of polymers, Diutane, Sclerogluca, and Hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (HPAM) in different concentration conditions and analyzes their performance with Bingham and Herschel-Bulkley rheological models. Using experimental data, basic parameters including yield stress (τ₀) and adaptation coefficients (R²) for storage and loss modulus have been calculated. The results show that the Herschel-Bulkley model fits the data best and describes the rheological behavior better, especially at higher concentrations. These findings emphasize the importance of a deep understanding of the rheological properties of materials in the fields of petroleum engineering and hydraulic fracturing (HF) operations. The results of this research can help to design materials suitable for industrial processes and improve the efficiency of oil and gas extraction operations.
