Abstract:
Motivation is one of the key factors in learning a foreign language and has a major impact on the learning process. When a person is highly motivated, he or she usually learns the language with more energy and does not give up in the face of challenges. This motivation can originate from various factors, including interest in the culture of the country of learning language, the need to use the language in the workplace or social communication. People who have a specific goal, such as studying abroad or working in an international company, are usually more committed to learning. They plan better for studying and spend more time practicing. Also, motivation makes a person continue to learn regularly and continuously, even when the learning process becomes difficult. In addition, motivation can have a positive effect on a person's confidence in using a new language. People who believe in themselves and their abilities are more inclined to use language in different situations and learn from mistakes. This interaction and practical use of language accelerates learning and strengthens skills. Motivation not only encourages a person to learn, but also increases the quality and depth of learning. Highly motivated people are usually more fluent in the language and more successful in their communication.
