Abstract:

This study explores the impact of blended learning (BL) on English language acquisition through a combination of literature review and qualitative research. Blended learning, which integrates face-to-face and digital instruction, is increasingly used to improve educational outcomes. The paper reviews recent studies (۲۰۱۹–۲۰۲۴) that address the role of BL in developing the four core language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It also examines relevant concepts such as flipped classrooms, technology-enhanced learning, and learner autonomy. The empirical part of the study involves semi-structured interviews with EFL learners and instructors to gather insights into their experiences with BL environments. Results indicate that BL significantly enhances language proficiency, particularly in listening and speaking, due to greater exposure, interactive tasks, and learner engagement. The study concludes with practical recommendations for teachers aiming to implement BL effectively and calls for further research to refine blended learning models in language education
