Abstract:
This paper presents a new active dual-band wide bandwidth bandpass filter. The proposed filter is designed usingMMIC technology with central frequencies of 2GHz and 4 GHz at high frequency band. Cascading two active monobandbandpass filters, leads to dual-band wide bandwidth bandpass filter. Common gate and common drain transistorstructure are used to realize input and output impedance matching and bandstop filter is used to, realize impedancematching between two mono-band filters connected together. In this study, the two central frequencies are 2GHz and 4GHz. In this designed filter, the bandwidth at 2GHz is 570 MHz and also, at 4GHz is 510MHz and the high insertiongain is 18.887 dB at the central frequency of 2 GHz and 19.276 dB at 4GHz, also.
