Abstract:
Extensive research is being conducted in the field of smart school development. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact of knowledge management on smart school development. Based on the knowledge-based perspective, resource-based perspective, and knowledge management capability model, this study suggests that the knowledge management process and its infrastructure have a positive impact on smart school development. Furthermore, the study suggests that knowledge management infrastructure acts as a mediator. This study was conducted using a sample of several public schools. Purposive sampling method was used to collect data from a total of ۸۷ faculty members. The results of the study indicate that knowledge acquisition, knowledge sharing, and knowledge application, and ICT infrastructure and human knowledge management have a significant impact on smart school development. Furthermore, it was discovered that knowledge management infrastructure plays a mediating role in the impact of knowledge management process on smart school development. The findings indicate that successful knowledge management can support the advancement of smart schools. Further studies based on more variables are needed to increase the validity of this conclusion.
