Abstract:

The lack of a systematic method for assessing the realization of an organization's vision, and the absence of a scientific mechanism to evaluate the impact of strategic objectives on this realization—particularly under EFQM excellence model requirements—formed the basis of this research. The inability to assess such impacts may lead to flawed estimations of strategic goal effectiveness and, consequently, poor decision-making. This study focuses on identifying the influence of strategic objectives on the realization of the vision in Laleh Petrochemical Company. A structured questionnaire was distributed among experts (senior and unit managers), and the responses were analyzed using an integrated Grey Relational Analysis (GRA) under Type-۲ Fuzzy conditions. Criterion weights were determined in a Type-۲ trapezoidal fuzzy environment to reduce uncertainty, followed by a definitive evaluation of each criterion’s impact using GRA. The findings enable more accurate prioritization of strategic goals, supporting data-driven alignment between strategic planning and vision achievement.
