Abstract:
The aim of the present study was to determine the difference in metacognitive beliefs and attribution styles between diabetic and healthy people. According to its purpose, this research was applied research and in terms of the method of collecting data cross-sectionally and analyzing them in a descriptive method, it was descriptive, causal, comparative or post-event. The statistical population of the research All people with type ۲ diabetes referred to health centers in Negin Shahr in ۲۰۲۵. In the present study, with the possibility of incomplete questionnaires, the number of ۵۰ people with diabetes and ۵۰ normal people according to the method Available were selected. The research tools included Wells' (۱۹۹۷) Metacognitive Beliefs Questionnaire, Patterson et al.'s (۱۹۸۲) Document Styles Questionnaire. To analyze the data from the multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) test SPSS version ۱۸ statistical software was used. The findings showed that there is a difference between metacognitive beliefs and attribution styles between diabetic and healthy people.
