Abstract:
Persian literature, with its rich poetic heritage, holds a unique position in the cultural and intellectual history of the world. This article explores the evolution and influence of Persian poetry from classical to modern times, highlighting the works of key poets such as Ferdowsi, Rumi, Hafez, Saadi, and Forough Farrokhzad. Through selected verses in both Persian and English translation, the article analyzes how these poets expressed themes of identity, mysticism, ethics, love, and resistance. It further investigates the global reach of Persian poetry and its impact on world literature and philosophy. Ultimately, the article presents Persian poetry as a dynamic, enduring force—one that continues to shape thought, bridge cultures, and articulate universal human experiences.
