The Role of Artificial Intelligence in the Learning Process of Introverted Language Learners

Learning a second language is a complex process influenced by individual, social, and environmental factors. One important individual factor is the personality traits of learners, especially introversion. Introverted learners often face challenges such as anxiety when speaking in groups, fatigue from social interactions, slower speech, and focusing too much on theoretical aspects instead of practical practice. These barriers can limit progress in communication skills in a second language. With the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, new opportunities have emerged for personalized, low-stress, and effective learning. This paper first examines the challenges of learning a second language for introverted learners and then shows how AI tools can help reduce these obstacles and facilitate the learning process.
