Abstract:

Stability theory has been one of the fundamental concepts in scientific and practical discussions in recent decades, with particular attention to social, economic, and environmental dimensions. This review article aims to introduce and examine stability theories with an emphasis on social development theories, analyzing and comparing these theories in line with the goals of sustainable development. In this context, theories such as systems theory, social justice, empowerment, and community-based development have been explored. Each of these theories emphasizes a specific aspect of social development and has diverse applications in sustainable policymaking. The article also examines the strengths and weaknesses of these theories and analyzes their convergence and divergence. Finally, suggestions are provided for future research and the practical application of these theories in social development planning. The results of this study can contribute to the development of sustainable policies and the enhancement of quality of life in various communities.
