Environmental Consequences of Economic Growth and Foreign Direct Investment: Evidence from major perrolum exporters contries

This paper is investigating the non-linear relationship between foreign direct investment and environmental degradation using panel data by fixed effect of 18 Major Petroleum Exporters Countries (MPEC) during 1990-2009. The results indicated that environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) exists and foreign direct investment has negative effect on CO2 emission but insignificantly and decreases environmental degradation
