THE FEATURE SELECTION AND DIMENSIONALITY REDUCTION METHODS FOR EMAIL CLASSIFICATION

According to the increasing growth of using electronic mails, the spam emails has became a important problem. Today, there are many methods to detect and filter unwanted emails. The filtering techniques apply machine learning algorithms to classify. In email classification, usually the email term is used as a feature, but most of the methods face with the high volume problem of features’ dimensions.
